Math Curriculum
Mathematics at DAS North is designed to build confidence, logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and real-world application. Students learn procedures and concepts while also explaining their thinking and collaborating with peers.
Core Programs
- Elementary grades use Go Math to support conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and hands-on application.
- Middle school grades use Illustrative Mathematics as the campus grows into Grades 6-8.
- Students receive targeted support and enrichment based on diagnostic data and classroom performance.
What Students Build
As DAS North grows into the upper grades, students who are ready for advanced coursework may have opportunities for accelerated math pathways such as Algebra I and Geometry, consistent with readiness, staffing, and campus scheduling.
